My Top 3 Budget to high end SPF's!

Let’s talk SPF. You know it’s important, I know it’s important, but with so many options out there, it’s easy to get overwhelmed, just like every other product on the market! So I’ve pulled together a little guide to three I really like, or have been recommended to me. These are especially good if you want something that actually feels nice on your skin and doesn’t leave you looking like a ghost.

Whether you’ve got dry skin, oily skin, or just want something that sits nicely under makeup, here’s my top 3 from budget to a bit more spendy!

1. Garnier Ambre Solaire Ultra-Hydrating Sun Cream SPF 30 Perfect if your skin leans on the drier side or you just love a hit of hydration. This one’s packed with shea butter and it’s great for keeping your skin soft while giving UVA and UVB protection. It sinks in fast, doesn’t feel greasy, and is ideal for popping in your bag if you’re on the go. Beach days, long walks, or even just the school run, does what it says on the bottle type of product!

2. La Roche-Posay Anthelios Oil Control Fluid SPF 50+ If you’ve got oily or blemish-prone skin, this one’s for you. I use it myself every day! It’s super lightweight, absorbs excess oil throughout the day, and has a lovely matte finish without drying you out. No white cast, no pilling, just clean, calm skin with really good protection. It's great under makeup, and it won’t clog your pores. Bonus!

3. SkinCeuticals Advanced Brightening UV Defense SPF 50 A bit more luxurious, but worth it if brightening and evening out your skin tone is a priority, which it is, for me anyway! This one not only protects your skin and helps tackle pigmentation, discolouration and early signs of ageing. It’s got niacinamide and tranexamic acid in ( which are great for calming and evening out the skin), and the texture is really nice too. It's light, smoothing, and again, not greasy, can you spot a theme in my recommendations? So you'll still feel hydrated, but without the shine. Bonus with this one, it's a moisturiser AND an SPF, which I usually wouldn't recommend a 2 in 1 but this one is too good at doing both so, you're allowed!
